Red will officially be on sale LATE NEXT YEAR. Dude if you're not on the waiting list, you can forget it until late 2008.

great stuff. not only does the camera itself seem amazing, hopefully the technology it offers will force more normal HD camera tech down to even lower prices (if the other manufacturers still want to compete etc).

sony,panasonic,canon, can easy pack up they shit and leave this industry if they dont come up with anything better. and i hope they will in future realese something for enduser.

such a good price, I wonder how long it will be before standard off the shelf computer hardware can handle 4k footage? I sure wouldnt want to try it with any of the pc's or macs currently available!

Thank you for posting the video. Every little bit of information to get a better idea of what the camera will be like helps. Of course you had to be there to experience the 4k footage.
