Presented by Erin Attardi, Realtor with Lyon Real Estate. East Sacramento is a widely used term that generally describes many neighborhoods in part of Sacramento that are east of downtown and midtown. East Sacramento is bound by U.S. Hwy. 50 to the south, Alhambra Boulevard to the west, and California State University, Sacramento and the American River to the northeast.
East Sacramento residential development began in the 1890s, and the area was annexed into Sacramento in 1911. East Sacramento was also home to the Alhambra Theatre. East Sacramento also includes McKinley Park and the "Fabulous Forties" neighborhoods, East Portal Park, River Park, Elmhurst, etc.

Brilliant video featuring Sarah Brightman. I saw here in concert, Santa Barbara! She is the Angelic voice to save Sacramento. Every day is a new hope. Be positive America, it is our State Capital! Best, Tyler
