Obama warns of economic catastrophe

Barack Obama is struggling to win the support of a divided Congress for his economic recovery package. He says if lawmakers fail to approve the plan, America will plummet into economic catastrophe.

Obama is wrong. It is PASSING the plan that will cause the catastrophe. They are just doing more of what caused the situation. Throwing gas on the fire won't put the fire out. It will cause an even deeper, and inflationary, recession. It makes no sense to take money from productive people and then give it to out of work or unproductive people so that they can buy things from the people whose money was taken in the first place. They should listen to Ron Paul and Peter Schiff. But they won't.

Luchik44: So then you also accept the fact that "undeserving banks" were forced to loan money for mortgages to those with bad credit, and high risk of foreclosure.
