LEW STONE directed the Roy Fox band while Fox himself was ill. This is why it was concidered to be the durium dance band.LEW STONE took over Roy Fox,s band all but Sid Buckman remained,on OCT 1932.Directing a band and having a band is two different thing,s.ROY FOX,s band released LOVABLE on decca may 4 1932.I hope this help,s ,Rob.

Many thanks for the explanation Rob.That Roy Fox version is EXCELLANT with Al Bowlley vocals and such a good bit after the vocals when the full band plays the tune.

This could be Arthur Lallies band as well as possibly Lew Stones.
