Don't Blink Trippy0001 1024x768 (3D elements w/ ChromaDepth 3D / Crayola 3D glasses)

This is another "Don't Blink" insanely rapid slide show. This animation will last one minute (unless You Tube chooses to decide otherwise, again). The fractals that are used in it are from a themed set of 12,039 "Trippy, Hippy" fractals. Originally these fractals were requested for use during the 2007 Gaylaxicon convention. Alan Siler, who was performing at the con, wanted to have something truly unique as background visuals for his cover of The B-52s. I had previously contacted him about running my fractals for their dance.

Rather than spending countless hours sorting through tens of thousands of fractals on my web site, Alan asked that I search for what he wanted. Within one week I had culled 12,039 matches. Not to let the theme go to waste I later started using them to make my Trippy themed DVD slide shows. Those slide show DVDs each utilize forty-four cool transitions and play for 40 to 70 minutes.

So, getting back to this demo. These are what I would call PC HD and You Tube seems to agree they are a form of High Definition. After I have uploaded all six of the one minute videos I shall start uploading combo versions of varying lengths. The ultimate goal is to see how long my viewers can go without blinking while watching these images blip on and off the screen. As fair warning I am not responsible for any mind trips or seizures you may experience. I don't feel that an image appearing once per second is going to cause you any troubles, but ya never know. So progress at your own risk, my hands are washed of all responsibility.

I used to play the original Legend of Zelda. In fact I still have the original Nintendo and the gold plastic Zelda game. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. A minute without blinking is probably easier to to handle when you don't have 1800 brightly colored pictures flashing before your eyes :)
