He could have potentially been a star in the NFL, but he was too small. The Miami Dolphins, however, LOVE scouting the University of Montana. Dan Carpenter (Pro Bowl Kicker), Lex Hilliard (RB), and Jimmy Wilson (CB) ---all currently on the 2011 roster--- are all from the U of M. More that any other college. Not bad for a 1-AA program.

Ummm... Dave Dickenson played for the Grizzlies, while Ryan Leaf played for the Washington State Cougars. I don't understand how Ryan Leaf could be U of M's greatest quarterback when he's probably never even been to Missoula. I used to watch Dickenson when I was a kid. He was part of the Big Sky Conference, while Leaf played about 250 miles away in the Pack 10. I don't understand the significance of this video. Dickenson ended up playing in San Diego (my current hometown), too.
