SC:DB (End Pt.3) - Ending

Final piece. I do have a few more Chronicles videos, too, though.

This time I kept in some of the cutscenes 'cuz it's a lot shorter. Seems I didn't leave all of them, though...

*MAJOR SPOILERS*

(Knuckles) That should do it! *1
(Ix) No! It can't be!
(Sonic) I'm afraid so, Ix. It's over.
(Ix) Not yet, Sonic the Hedgehog. This old man still has one more trick!
(Ix) I summon the ultimate power of the Nocturnus! The power of the Nocturne itself!
(Knuckles) What the--
(Ix) Ha ha ha! Insignificant fools! Come! Face me now!
(Tails) Sonic... he's too powerful. We can't beat him like this!
(Sonic) I have an idea. If he can use the power of the emeralds, then so can I!
(Tails) Yes! You can become Super Sonic!
(Sonic) Everyone get back! Now!
(Tails) You've done it now, Ix! Super Sonic's gonna take you down!

*** CUTSCENE 19 ***

(Ix) Finally. A worthy opponent.
(Ix) Let's see what you can do!

*** IMPERATOR IX BOSS BATTLE (FINAL) ***

*** CUTSCENE 20 ***

(Sonic) It's over, Ix. You've lost.
(Ix) Yes, you have defeated me. You have won the day.
(Ix) But if I can't leave this nightmare prison... then neither will you!
(Ix) Ha ha ha ha ha ha haa!
(Amy) What did he do? *2
(Tails) What's happening?
(Shade) Lord Ix activated the shut down sequence! He's closing the wormhole! *3
(Sonic) Everyone! Grab hold of something!
(Amy) Knuckles!
(Amy) Knuckles! What do we do? We're doomed!
(Tails) Maybe not.
(Tails) Our ride's here!
(Sonic) Everyone to the Cyclone!

*** CUTSCENE 21 ***

(Tails) Everyone make it aboard?
(Sonic) We're all here.
(Amy) Brilliant, Tails! I didn't know the Cyclone could do that!
(Tails) Hey, Eggman and I designed the ship ourselves! She'll surprise you!
(Knuckles) Well done!
(Amy) And we stopped Ix! Our world is saved!
(Knuckles) Yeah, now we just have to get back there.
(Tails) Everyone hang on. I'm working on that!

*** CUTSCENE 22 ***

*1 Um... Knuckles... YOU JUST STOOD THERE DOING NOTHING!!!

*2 Amy barely has any dialog at ALL. Plus, this is the first time she talks in the ending.

*3 This is the ONLY time Shade talks in the ending. Shade is also the only character not of the main four (plus Ix and Eggman) that ever talks in the ending.

1.) Yes. The Super Sonic battle is THAT easy. Sephiroth final battle, anyone?

anyone know where i can find the good ending? i really don't want to redo the whole game again and have to find all the chao eggs and rings

Um... There isn't one. There's only one ending to the game. Unless you like the game that much, don't even bother trying (though frankly, I like the game but it's just too short with little replay value).

I need to get back to updating TSR's scripts some more later on. The login feature is useless to anyone except to me right now, anyway, so its pointless. Later on I'll get back to fixing everything up, but right now their may be glitches. All the old forum accounts should be available.

after you beat the final boss can you come face him again?

If you do not overwrite your save file you can. However, all the game actually does is restart you at the beginning with all items + levels. You'll have to re-buy all your POW moves, but you get all the points you had back (basically up to your current level).

i made two save sates at the same place in the game, so i'll just use one for the ending, and use the other and start again making two save states. but im still sad i thought there'd be some kinda freeplay mode in the game after you finish it

dude super sonic kicked that old echidnas ass! awesome. im only watching the ending cos i lost my game save one planet thing away from ix and i cant be screwed playing from tails workshop to here again. also, i read somewhere there was a reference to cosmo in tails workshop, that pot with her seed in it from the anime, just looked, there isnt. LIES! it gave me hope she might be in sc2 aswell :(
