What you said is the truth. I'm light skinned my father is dark skinned & my mother is caramel. My dad's mom is mixed my family has an array of colors, some are light with "regular" hair and some are dark with long wavy hair. No matter what ugly is ugly. You don't hear white people saying"oh she's pale white and I'm tan white. She's not pretty because she's pale". What we have done culturally is allow what they did in slavery which was divide and conqueror to then divide us ourselves...smh
