I saved an eastern box turtle from my dog 2 days ago and dont know what 2 feed it any ideas?

@killerdragox They eat worms and various bugs they can catch, fruits and vegetables. They seem to really love orange and red fruits and vegetables. If you can, set it free where you found it. But if you live in a city or somewhere with lots of roads you can read up on them on the boxturtlelist on yahoo groups.

We built a "turtle table" for them and used seed trays to keep the moisture up and the substrate together. We have two female eastern box turtles and they share a 2' x 4' enclosure with a good bit of time outside in a penned area.

If you live in an area with box turtles it is often best to just help them cross the road, but sometimes they end up in urban places and cannot get back home. Check out: boxturtlelist on yahoo groups

My boyfriend just got a female that his uncle saved from the road. thanks for the video. i like that you used dirt as a substrate and just put in some plants. that's a wonderful way to encourage keeping her environment moist like the outdoors. how big is her tank in this video?
