Though I'm not sure it's genetic, I certainly have odd issues myself, though by looking at me, nobody could really guess. I 've had to work extremely hard to appear "typical" For instance, I've struggle for years with things like: noises drive me nuts. I have to wear earplugs in crowds, as I hear everyone's conversation and my mind starts processing it. Clothes drive me nuts. I hate wearing clothes. Or bulky things. I feel trapped. Order: when things out of order or don't make sense, I'm furious

My son has been tested repeatedly for genetic links to autism and they find nothing. Are there new tests I should be asking genetic doctor to order? My son has also has had MRI's/ CTs etc....and they find nothing signifigant. My son is negative for fragile x, been tested 3x. All negative. Negative for lesch nyan. Negative for mercury poisoning. Negative for all sorts of things, as I've obessively pushed for just about every test possible to rule out etiologies. Is it possible neurons involved?
