The recession was caused by Predatory Lenders pawning-off adjustable-rate mortgages on inexperience home-buyers.

Bush could have outlawed adjustable-rate mortgages in 2003 but decided not to act because First Countrywide Bank provided his re-election campaign with substantial political contributions.

Obama is now introducing sensible regulations to the mortgage sector to prevent another collapse.

Increased the money supply to stimulate the economy
Put a moritorium on home foreclosures
