  • RIP my old teammate Len Mullen ( a 1:53 800m runner). He appears mid screen at 22 secs and in a masterly piece of pacing stays there just behind the stars for 20 seconds. His friend Graham Brooke apears on his shoulder at the end

    Nigel Havers' character was my favorite.  It's all there in that scene. He wasn't in it for God, his People, or King and Country.

    Just for sh**s and giggles.
