Well, I got over my cold, which is always 10 times worse than anybody Else's (why do they even call them colds? I get so hot when I have one I nearly melt!) Anyway this is Part 2, the final part. It's gets finished, and there's some random stuff thrown in too,

  • Wow man Nice....i like those Speaker Drivers too!...especially the Oval Ones!...and one almost looks like two Speakers in One?

  • Thanks. Some speakers have a small cone attatched to the main cone to improove the high freuency responce.

  • i think you need some better insulation on the 220 volts contacts of that relay. it is very dangerous the way you do this! at least add some electrical tape, heatshrink is even better, and best is insulation the thing and building it in a small plastic box.

  • I did put tape around the contacts on the relay, its just not shown in the video. Good point though. BTW the voltage here is 240, not 220.

  • nice vintage alnico speakers!and nice rell to reel!and nice project!whats the name of the first song u played?i thing the realy old one is an isophon...

    5/5

  • Thanks, I'm not sure if the song has a name, it's in one of my games "The incredible machine even more contraptions" and the song was the "vegas" music.

  • when you had this screwed to the underside of the computer bench, did you use the rear speaker connections and centre or did you just have 2 front speakers and the subwoofer going, shame to wire something up like this and only use 3 speakers out of a possible 6...

  • The bit with the neighbour was funny.

  • nice 1967 sharp, Im still hunting for speakers too, ran across one in an old intercom/radio unit, took the tubes and speaker, my whizzercone isnt oval like that one, mine is round, but its the same speaker.

  • the from 1997 ...youuse it as a pringle tubes speaker

  • i have thatr sony too!its not sounding so ggood, but its soo funny.

it came with a 3" sub

  • ok, good.

anyway, i live in the netherlands, and we also have a 240V net here, but my multimeter tells me its 224 volts.
