this is a stunning kinetic masterpiece combining the beauty that drawing is historically noted with, and the kinetic motion of video to create a provocative contemporary miracle of art. this maker is clearly a talented virtuoso who we should keep our eyes on. the images seemed choreographed in time with the classic soundtrack...very hypnotizing. i can't turn my eyes away. thank you for sharing!
I love this! The surprise from the sudden shifting of the eyes at the beginning--"Did I just see that?"--and then the changing facial expressions and even locations throughout just grabs you. To have movement in an art-form that is usually, well, unmoving is unnerving and fascinating at the same time--it challenges the expectation that a drawing is static and permanent, that once the strokes are on paper, they won't change again. Really amazing concept!
I really liked that the face(s) moved all around the screen. Since it starts with discernible facial features, the viewer is compelled to keep searching for recognizable features throughout, and it makes for an intense emotional viewing with visual morphing the sound/music too. Very enjoyable and interesting. Also, the end graphics are a nice extra layer to the "Erasure" title and theme. A rather rich and multi-layered/-sensory piece! S. Bush

Facial expressions are amazing, erasing sound effects are also very impressive.
