August the 17th to 18th 2009,
I was invited to go on the wherry Albion and it was a truly amazing experience, you learn so much from everyone on the ship, and you learn so much about wherries and the Broads, i have lived near the broads for 18 years and most of the information i had never known before these 2 days.
The Albion is 1 of a few wherries left that sail around the Norfolk Broads, and they are all in need or maintenance, Albion is 111 this year and is still a magnificent vessel.
Please help by showing an interest in the website, and try and go along to open days where it says and even trips, it is well worth it, Wherries are beautiful ships and the Icon of Norfolk and the essence of the Broads.
