Ford SHO mid engine RWD in a Fiero Redneck dune buggy

Initial Startup, running in the parking lot by my shop. A few donuts, a few drifts and some straight line runs. A piss poor attempt to laying a patch! lol
My friends and I have spent over 400 hours building this car. It is caged with race seats and harness belts. I plated the chassis and completely rebuilt the back end of the frame to suit my driving needs! I used the subframe from the Taurus SHO and modified it to fit the Fiero. I also plated the subframe and added a 1/2" thick aluminum skidplate! This baby is built to drive the piss out of it! :D
It will be interesting when I start running exotic blends of fuel, as I am only starting off with some 87 Octane fuel to start with here. More to come in time....
I have an MTX and a auto Tranny I am willing to sell!

The SHO engine was made by Yamaha , a japanese company. Japan makes the best engines, bar none.

@NightTurkey82 Im sitting on an MTX tranny right now for the SHO engine. I hear it will bolt up with minimal problems,(Including half shafts). The most challenging part of putting it in, is making the shifter work....

@blacuraRL The SHO engine was not built by Yamaha, The Engine architecture is that of the 3.0L Ford Vulcan V6. Ford contracted Yamaha to design DOHC version of the Vulcan and the 3.0L SHO was born

@blacuraRL Japan makes the best engine bar none? what planet do you live on? I have one of the most powerful Japenese production engines ever built up untill the 370z and the new GTR and i love it but facts are facts Ford leads everyone in overall quality

As for this car. Cool combo but the SHO engine is more suited for onroad than offroad. Put the body panels back on and scare some ricers at a stoplight
