Thanks for your answers. I don't get what all the fuss is about keeping things to yourself, though. Is it the novelty of being the sole owner of a piece of history? Who knows. Keep at it. I love you for what you've done.

  • @Carrwen94 The problem with the photo book remains getting a publisher prepared to produce the quality I want. I've been messed around by so many people who have been "so excited about such an fantastic project" and then refused to answer their phone. I would love to publish it.

  • @Carrwen94 @Carrwen94 Actually I am only too happy to share what I have but some of the stuff has been exchanged/given to me only on condition that I do not pass it on to anyone else. Although I don't necessarily agree with that approach, I have to respect the views of the individuals concerned otherwise many of my key sources would dry up. - I cannot upload a better quality of this video at the moment as my internet connection is a shambles and cuts out all the time.

  • @TeddyDupont

Come on, doc. You're my best chance in life to see this stuff. Don't make me suffer any more. :-)

  • @TeddyDupont

To be honest with you, I admire you to an extent, just like Reinhardt. Every forum I go on about Django, I search for your alias in hopes to find some new bit of exciting info, or even photographs. You're such an amazing source of knowledge, and I think it's a shame that, though you love to share your fanaticism, you lock yourselves to; as I believe, only give the gems to those who succeed to please you. You've done a fantastic job, but a silent admirer is a happy admirer.

What's there to keep for yourself, bud? Isn't humanity all about socializing? You're not the only person that has fallen to the disease of fanaticism. Even I collect Django Reinhardt memorabilia, thanks to the internet. Since 1955 you have been searching far and wide for traces of life left behind Reinhardt. There's not much I can do except trying to persuade you. You've spent time and money on your book. Was it all just for yourself? I doubt it.

  • @zlognaut Yes. Rupert Nutcrunch. You can just his his feet dangling at the top of the screen.

  • @F0nkyNinja I have a great quality copy of the whole film and I could upload the section in high definition but I think it is important to maintain my reputation as a miserable old git and refuse to do so.

  • Please, roger. Upload a better quality copy of this. It shouldn't take much effort.

  • There is someone hanged at 00:31
