Fish urine, ammonia is consumed by certain bacteria the other create nitrite the another bacteria creates nitrate and plants use for fertilizer Cycle is complete. There is Good Bacteria and it is a MUST. Must cycle tanks FIRST. Puffers are very sensitive to ammonia.

  • When puffers are very young they are in fresh water. Later, as they growth they transition to Brac water (partial salt about 1/3 of seawater) Green Spotted females can be over 3 inches nose to tip of tail. The BIGGER the aquarium the BETTER.     i was in a pet store and stuck my finger in a cichlidtank to let em nibble on it and a figure 8 came out of nowere and bit me so hard i got stunned :P
