Actually Frusciante used to use a Les Paul every now and again back in the late 80s/ through the 90s. Usually for stuff that requires more gain, tunes like Knock Me Down!

What a great riff-rocker! Too bad it sounds so small and airless on the album though... actually, I'd say all of Stadium has great songs, but a really weak sound.

if it was live it was with the les paul but if it was lyp sych it was with a strat
