@ajk150 sorry kid your wrong, i drove a humvee for quite some time in the Marines and i know for a fact that the h1 was over 4 times heavier with not even close to the solidness of axels/suspension parts, the trave was alot less, and more. The h1 as cool as it looks was not intended to go crazy places... Unless those places could be gotten to by a paved road.

Hummers = failll. But my old humvee could destroy my jeep in goin anywhere. Hummers are wayyy to heavy lacking power, humvees weigh less than my gutted xj cherokee and have more solid everything..

@ajk150 And this is why you see so many H2's, H3's, and H1's running around on the road? They are so much better? That's why you see so many videos of Jeep's. This is also why you see 1000's of companies that are making Jeep-Exclusive parts? This is also why H1/H2/H3's are still in production right? Yep, you're 100% right. And as mentioned 100 times = locked live axles > independent suspension everyday, all the time. IDS = same as every vehicle. And H1's aren't known for quality, so....

@tmack1219 Yes, i am aware of why the Humvee was created & by who it was created by. If i had more then 500 characteristics i could give you a whole history. Thank you for stating my point, in why the hummer is better. It covers more multi-purpose then the jeep/willy ever did. Also the humvee was easier to armor & worked better under heavy weight then the jeep ever could. And youtube people? you fall into the same class of faceless man behind computer screen as i do. Don't you have HW to get to?
