...keep my measly pension (discontinued in 97) and flight benefits and retire early. And did. Later
I got this plaque. It was made to stand up on a surface. Three dimensional. Thanking me for my 30
years. I keep it behind a door that I never close. O and incidentally I came to find my station manager....got a promotion. I am sorry I took so much room. I guess I am venting. I wish
you the best in getting your contract. It's not all one big family. Hasn't been for a long time!

..were beginning to wonder if the would cut Sky Club staffing. We noticed that our supervisors
were no longer required to wear uniforms, like NW had done for years. But it was depressing to
hear co-workers saying it was just a matter of time. I thought then why not do yourself a favor
and acknowledge it is out of your hands. There was a lot off people behind other peoples
back...to mngmt. I was finally put on probation. I left, went to my car and wept, 30 years.
I went to my doctor and told..

...had done what he had asked. I couldn't do it. Weeks later my Team leader calls me at home on my Friday night at 8PM. He want me to open for him the next morning at 4am. I said I really would like to come through but I had plans. ANd he went on to talk about Holidays and working together.
I repeated myself. It was truly an exercise in staying cool and repeating myself over and over.
The write ups continued. I lost faith. I loved my job. I got endless compliments from passengers.

...but that we would not talk of this again. He told me I could go to hiss boss, "but he would advise me not to."Incidentally conference call took place in my station leaders office and she participated.
After he hung up I looked at my station manager and asked if she didn't hear what he said as a veiled threat. Her reply was, "you just don't know...the things he asks me to do." I wanted to say
right then in regards to him I had seen enough. But what I was most curious about was whether

An very big man on the other side of the room had blown his nose and my Team Leader all wide
eyed looked up at me and asked, "If I had just farted." I took it to HR . They backed mngmnt. started getting write-up from supervisors down stairs. Lies and half lies. Overdone. Looked
like an attempt to assassinate my very character. I then went to the upper division head. Who

...SFO management. In the meantime the whole thing with Northwest was taking place. Their
lounge was at International. They only worked the from desk. All food and drinks were serif served.
A janitorial service was contracted to bus tables, do dishes and replenish food and drinks.
on the day that I was kept late I did tell the FTP supervisor of other situation. One that my team leader doesn't look at me when i am speaking or when speaking to me. I told him of a situation
where I was talking..

..I left. I went down to the supervisor at FTO to tell him what happened. He said I would get paid
and my team leader was wrong. I had a weekend to get over it. But on Monday I am called
into another supervisors office who tell me I should know That I would get paid, that he could not force me to stay and that I should finish any work I started. I had took that problem on 5 minutes
before I was to get off. I was written up foe insubordination. I took it to HR and they unbelievably
backed up ..

He said I should learn how to do this and it was my job to stay until it was done. He struggled.
I picked the phone to call the agent help line. Immediately he comes and stand next to me. Then
starts making comments about what I was saying. English was not his first language and his e-mails were full of misspelling and sentence that were hard to understand. But here he was
talking in my ear criticizing everything I said. I had had it. I told him to ,["please stop or I am leaving."
He didn't so..

..know that. He once kept me after work to finish a deal that I had just started. Meantime he is
standing there looking at me. He wasn't doing anything- it was his job to take over as he was working as an agent that day. So he just looks at me. I looking in the computer. I couldn't find the answer to this complicated ticketing reissue. He finally grabs the paperwork from me, says nothing
and proceeds to work the reissue. But he cannot do it. I asked him if I was getting overtime
and he said "no"
You obviously have not ridden jumpseat in a thunderstorm observing the professionals we have on the flight deck. I have and it was like watching a well-oiled machine. You think it's easy strap yourself in and do it yourself. The F/A crew rest is not three abreast but two abreast. We are not flying the ScAIRBUS or the Whale to your precious destinations because we are flying where the loads dictate. Lastly, go to the Credit Union take out a loan and buy a digital camera instead of using crayons.

All I can say is -- look at the track record. Look at the side-by-side comparison. What, really WHAT, has AFA provided that Delta has not? Currently, Delta F/A's make more money and have more flexibility, and they don't have to pay dues for it.
