@cjg6121 I have been a member of the Mormon church for 29 years. I have known literally thousands of mormons during that time. I have never known a single mormon to leave our religion. Not one. Sure it happens, but it happens few and far between. Please don't publish your ignorance.

@bennythebull81 I haven't read it cover to cover but your comment made me revisit it , I browsed 1 nephi & words of mormon. I gave it a fair shake and it is to me jibberish. I still read the bible and the quran from time to time and w/o fail it strengthen's my disbelief. If there were a creator of the universe he could do better than any one of these three books.

@ROTC44532 I find this really funny ", just because I don't believe as you do, don't force your views on me or others." , As soon as the cult quits sending it's bicycle pests all over the world bashing on peoples doors trying to get their "souls" and thus their money for the cult you might be justified in making such a comment

If you are refering to The Bible under one cover by our standards today it is a book. The woord is Greek and it is plural and that is a fact from Biblion or Biblio.. Each writer wrote his own work. God never put a moritorium on keeping a record. Where is the Book of The Wars of the Lord spoken of by Moses? Where is Book of Nathan and Gad? We have Jasher and Enoch but were left out. does god still inspire men? If not he would not be God.

@scottwins2 I'm almost afraid to ask ,,,,,,what is it if it's not a book?

@belladonna666999 I fail to see what I said that indicates homosexuality on my part. Or your calling me a cigar. Either way, it's a misnomer.

@denisasitis Well you're entitled to your own opinion. You said you lived in SL City for years and that your daughter was baptized but have you read the Book of Mormon? I am an inactive Mormon so obviously I'm not a good example of Mormonism. However my "Amazing Bar" isn't as low as you think. I have read the Book of Mormon several times and I always felt different about things when I was reading it. It might sound hypocritical for me to say that but I struggle with things like anyone else.

@cjg6121 Those who join the mormon church usually leave after a year or two: once they have learned the deeper, hidden doctrine. The book of moron (BOM) is a copy cat of Bible stories. The deeper doctrine taught by mormon founders isn't even consistant with the BOM. Retention of new converts is less than %20. I've repeatedly watched the mormon church tear families apart and destroy converts lives by lying to these people.

@mapcjlpc If you're a mormon, you are not lead by Christ, you are lead by the church leaders. Your whole life is under the control of other men, who think that everything about your life is their business; from how much money you make, to how often you masterbate, to what your sex life is like with your wife. Mormonism is a cult. I know of so much destruction the church has caused in the lives of others, from broken families to suicides. These things ar of satan and not of Jesus Christ.
