last of the summer wine Ballad for wind instruments and canoe part 1

After a man named Arnpepper falls out of his canoe, the trio help him retrieve it. They decide to buy one of their own, but soon loose it after attempting to try it out. They attempt to retrieve it in various ways, including hanging Compo over a bridge and putting on swimwear, which works until they loose the canoe again. The trio is forced to try to get home in the swimwear.

Well, this canoe did turn over during the filming and gave Peter Sallis (who can´t swim) quite a job getting out again ;).

one of the best episodes, i have series 2 on vhs and i love it, series 1 is good also. the the dialog packed scenes are abit boring

But seriously, I've gone quite a long ways in a canoe...they aren't that tipsy...unless the people in it are...LOL
