@jreinke4 I think he's overrated in some ways as well (I mean, as a supposedly brilliant criminal or whatever), but I think your last point is incorrect. Rebellious pre-teens on drugs usually get scared shitless when they finally get in more trouble than they ever expected. Manson, on the other hand, was never scared to go back to prison once he basically decided that he was an incorrigible psycho. There is a difference.
