Play Tennis. Save Lives.

The Austin Tennis Academy has raised more than $300,000 for development projects in rural Ethiopia in four years. Listen to these amazing children tell their story in their own words.

The students of the Austin Tennis Academy have founded Playing for Glimmer, a fundraising program similar to a walk-a-thon to raise funds. In 2007 the students raised enough money to built 11 water wells in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.

In 2008 the goal was to raise $150,000, enough to build a school, a health post and 11 wells- an integrated project serving water, education and health needs.
