"Nanook" vs. "Rat Trap" Fuel Altereds video at the 2005 NHRA Columbus event. "Rat Trap" had to shut off on the line due to an electrical problem. On his run Rick Hough driving "Nanook" crossed into the other lane, if "Rat Trap" did run there could have been a nasty accident

I saw Ron Hope in the Rat Trap do the same thing to Rick Hough in the Nanook in July of 2005 at Mission Raceway Park in B.C. Canada. Same thing only Rick blew a blower belt right off the line and Ron drifted across from the right lane to the left and back to the right. Could have been real ugly for both.

I saw them at the track running on nitro... insaine.

rat trap raced nanook on nitro, then the second round nanook ran against a jet car. the jet was only a few milliseconds faster than nanook. I would love to own a nitro altered.

I flew back east that weekend and was there for that one. Wasnt that on that friday night it got so cold only 2 nitro cars made it down past 100 feet (a few well funded teams even pulled out of the lanes cause the track was so trashed)
