joe frazier a great fighter and a good and humble man i miss him but at least i can still watch his hegreat fights with ali,mathis,foreman,chuvalo ellis,machen smokin joes my favorite because he fought like a man and always got up when knocked down he had a great fighting spirit.

Joe won this fight!! Ali told Dundee he wanted to quit at the same time Futch told Joe he was throwing in the towel. If that ain't enough, after it was called off Ali feinted in his corner...if they had gone one more round Ali would have feinted and Joe would have won!

Another thing, the cut em off myth actually is confused with the first Liston fight. Liston blinded the young Ali and Ali couldn't see anything so he asked Dundee if he cut off his gloves so could protest to the ref about Liston's tactic. Dundee told Ali after the 14th round "You've got him, you've got him baby" after Ali punished Frazier in the 14th and was close to knocking him out. Its sad how people like you say something that has never been stated.

Asiatic 1979 Stop lying to yourself about Ali saying he was going to quit. HE HAS NEVER STATED SUCH A THING. He gave Frazier his props by saying things like "closest thing to death I have felt" or "I felt like quitting after the 10th, I didn't know Joe had so much stamina". Ali, Dundee and his entire corner has always shot down the rumor that was made up by the bitter Frazier corner. Dundee's words, "how can they make a statement like that, Ali didn’t say a word in the corner after the 14th".

Eddie Futch is a great trainer, a great guy, but.. he should've never thrown the towl in the ring, Smokin' Joe would've won, or ali would've end up dead
