I must to say 4 things..
1.- You need play with FEELING man, your solos are very very good, but you seems a robot..
2.- You missed the wasted years solo xD, all miss in the same part (9:24 to 9:30 sec) try to check out this.
3.- In some solos, the volume of your guitar it's too low, and it become confusing hear it..
4.- You are great, respect.
Cheers from Chile.
Keep playing man!

What's the tab of the phantom of the opera solo?

Astonishing Randy.. you should have got the job after Adrian split maiden.. you nail all of Adrians solos and phrasing.. he is one of metals tastiest guitarists, Yanick is a good player too, but he would have been a better Dave Murray replacement than Adrians. Well done mate.. (no offence Dave, i also love you)

Hey Randy, i believe you are a classically trained musician e.t.c... Is adrian's playing pentatonic heaven or does he dabble in 'The Dreaded Mode's'... In an interview he said he is NOT schooled in theory...you have obviously analyzed very carefully his notes that he is playing... What reoccurring patterns and scales does he use, in your opinion? Do you think his early solos are more pentatonic basic and the later stuff more modal in structure?...

Your last statement is dead-on. He's mostly blues pentatonic and later used more aeolian (minor), but sometimes he uses other modes. 7th Son in particular has crazy stuff in it.

verry good, but looks like you are playing with you guitar with low sound and whith the solo verry loud as a backing track to sound good.

I didn't spend much time getting levels before recording. This was more about showing how to play the solos, not proving I can play them. With headphones and good ears you can hear both me and Adrian. That I'm playing them 99% note for note is part of why it's hard to tell them apart. Thanks.

Fantastic work. One thing...phantom of opera and running free solos are originally by Denis Stratton. Adrian joined Maiden before Killers.

Right, and I'm doing Adrian's solo from Live After Death :) Thanks
