  • It"s a bit far from being a child's book. I mean, it IS a bit violent. Even beheading the queen like that. And that cat. He dies more than once. A bit graphic. Everything else, like war, poverty, and mugging, those aren't good for a children's book; those are as real as anything, although set in a made-up land.

  • Obviously you've never read Narnia, the golden Compass, the Oz books, Harry Potter, Pendragon, Alex Rider, Fallen series, Artemis Fowl, or any of Bruce Colvil's books.

Yeah your opinion on childrens books is very limited and pourly informed.

  • Will you be Reading the Second or Third

  • No.

  • That Sucks I'm Gonna Read It Anyway

the guy that Writes it seems like a Michael Bay

like Dong but where did you see that interview ?

  • i thought i was the only who thought this about the book they make Lewis Caroll look like an idiot

  • Come to think of it, you do have a point. I have read all the Harry Potter books, though, but all the other ones you mentioned... I mostly read Star Wars books.

  • I agree with your review. I read the book a few months ago. Probably what I hated most about it was how disrespectful it is to Lewis Caroll and the original story. Mr.Beddor shows a contempt for the story and insults the author. Looking-Glass Wars was fairly mediocre. I much prefer the original story!

  • Yo Browncode Eric, I know your thoughts about the Disney adaptations. What are your thoughts on the Disney adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. Will you also review the Golden Compass book and movie

  • what kind of dick wud do that

  • The author came to my school in my last year of high school, explaining his total marketing blitz of computer games, movies, T.V series. I kept sensing this aura of Hackness about him, as he kept going on about how this story and world was so epic and mind-blowing and revolutionary. Finally deciding to borrow the book from the school library, I read the first few chapters, then gave up. It wasn't "Twilight" bad (no Mary Sue), but it was pretty mediocre. Thanks for agreeing with me.

  • I met Frank Beddor. He's nice in person.
