I live in Moab and it's no secret room, I've visited that area (by the river) Alot

Thanks for the video. I would guess the one that was concreted over must have been deeper or maybe these were the start of tunnels with only one being deep enough to warrent perminantly blocking!

You realize Moab was the epicenter of the huge Uranium boom in the 1960s right? There are lots of old mines
-
Most of the time...mine entrances are not sealed with big expensive steel doors. Most of the ones I have ever seen-were sealed with a grate. I am thinking an explosive locker. Note the heavy hinges....and the vents at the top. It does not fit the model of a fallout shelter because of the river so close by. So prolly something left over from the mine or bridge.

They are just small storage rooms from what I could see. Nothing too fascinating about it as they are all empty now, and they were small sized rooms. There was an old plastic chair inside this one when I visited and that was about it.

what arethe local rumours about these undergorund entrances?

I don't think they are entrances at all, since I could see the back of the wall in them. I think all they are are carved out storage units, possibly something to do with the large bridge that was built nearby.

I had brought some glow sticks & I wanted to see what was inside the 2nd door, but my wife was in the car & wasn't in a good mood, so I had to take my pics quickly. If I head down there again this summer I'll see if I can peek in that one as well.

There were also 2 other doors right next to this one. 1 was caved or cemented in, the other was a similar metal door about 30 feet to the left of this one, all 3 are next to a parking lot for access to the Colorado River, and they are not very hidden. Everyone that pulled up walked over to try & look in the little holes in the doors. They definitely are not part of an underground base, just small storage lockers.
