  • @Guffmau I'm pretty sure that's a Beech 18, which was a very common twin-engine machine at the time. Thousands had been built for World War II, and they actually remained in production until 1970. Look it up on Wikipedia for more info.

  • 7GA,it's hard to debate with offensive people without loosing temper,if just you have ever some clue how the rest of the world watch at USA and their way of life or rather energy waste & CO2 production,"free trade system" and how your & europe governments try to stem economical crisis triggered by Lehmann Bros, private industry, with PUBLIC funds raised by taxes, maybe you understand OUR angry. Now there's no job for NEXT FIVE YEARS,with 11% unemployement rate. Thanks USA,thanks capitalism.

  • @patsematary Look buddy give me some facts on why the aviation industry is so detrimental to society? If anything, we need to grow in the industry and if anything there needs to be more airports. Oh yeah and I and many other pilots choose to fly not because of newsreels or advertisement, but because we love it. You should try flying sometime, and maybe one day you will change your mind on all this and stop acting like a sissy.

  • @chuckp61 Chuck your right. There isn't anything absurd about the aviation industry. If anything we rely on the industry more than we think we do. Whether it is saving someone's life by airlifting them to the hospital for example, or to giving aid to foreign countries after a disaster, and the list goes on.

  • I'd say it to your face in a heartbeat patsematary. There is nothing absurd about the aviation industry whether it be timely transport of goods or services or indeed agricultural aviation that we rely on to feed ourselves affordably. On the other hand there absolutely IS something absurd about the attitude of people who see modern technology as being wholly negative for the planet.

  • @7GolfAlpha I know I spoiled your memories of what you believed was the right way of life: producing ang trading, selling without any concern of waste and social & environment consequence, but your arrogance reflects clearly your difficult to rebate and real concept of " freedom of opinion & democracy" in capitalist world.

I know it's hard understand the politics and economics facts when your own cullture is based just on newsreel & advertising than real knowledge of world.

  • @chuckp61 from youtube netiquette: never write words you never say front a man

  • @patsematary Man just shut up and keep your ideas and thoughts to yourself.
