U.S. Attorney Indicts two real estate agents in Connecticut for defrauding bank in short sale transaction; Get rich quick in real estate, short sales and flips
The problem was not short sale fllipping. Short sale flipping is no illegal. Fraud is illegal!
The Realtors in CT took the listing and then withheld offers to the distressed sellers. They set up a buyer and resold to the original offer. Do you see the problem?

Simultaneous closing (using the end buyer's money to buy the home) is not even what happened here????? So why bring it up? They are still legal but title insurance companies will not underwrite such transactions. Double closings as 2 separate transactions are a different story. With disclosure it is legal! The issue is disclosure, disclosure, disclosure!!!
I don't understand? This scheme is obviously rampant today in California. I can list Realtors just by researching the redfin closing data avaialbale to the public. How do these folks get away with this today?
What is this world becoming to?!!!! These people need to pay for what they do (FRAUD!) Thats why I DONT TRUST ANYONE!
