Leominster: New Store: Ultimate Electronics (Part 2)

A new store takes over the spot Circuit City once stood at the Mall at Whitney Field, Leominster, Massachusetts.
Do you think the motif borrows from Best Buy, or what?! :)

UPDATE: Some departments appear to be laid out, while others are appearing to take shape. Surprisingly, they didn't just go with the existing connections Circuit City had, to move things along far more easilly.

Heard nothing about that.

I guess their attempt to fill Curcuit City's viod was a little too amitious.

No impending doom over here, since the next closest store (minus Best Buy 2 miles away) is 20 miles.

Best Buy at the Independence Mall will be closing and moving to a more upscale shopping center (colony place) and it used to be circuit city where best buy is moving.

Best Buy took over our Circuit City building here.

I wouldn't know, because electronics stores avoided New England like the plague, until the 21'st century came along. Before then, they'd come along, and die quickly. Best Buy was the first survivor that came along, Circuit City was next. Now that there's a big void in competition, Ultimate now has the....err....ultimate opportunity, to get really big. If they can do it now, they'll be around a long time.

I am guessing it'll open late April at the latest. It does look good so far.
