Martians by ZIA (filmed in the High Arctic for HMP-2003)

Martians is the title track for ZIA's 2006 newest release. The full length CD can be purchased at myspace.com/ziaspace. This video was commissioned by the NASA Haughton-Mars Project and filmed in the Canadian High Arctic on Devon Island 75 degrees North, Nunavut, Canada.

Sam Burbank of National Geographic did the videography and Elaine Walker of ZIA did the editing. ZIA was formed in 1992 and describes themselves as electronic-pro-space-pop.

I usually write all the parts. I did "Martians" on my own. 3 other songs on this album were written by my x-band-mate Liz Lysinger. Other than that I've taken drum and sound design contributions from friends from time to time. It's fun to collaborate like that sometimes, but I usually prefer to write in isolation. :)
