If you want facts about opposition to parades, look no further than Gerry Adams himself, who ADMITTED on RTE that this was a IRA/Sinn Fein plan to AGRIVATE ANY situation that would set the Protestant people against the British and make Ulster ungovernable. They had planned to "host" kids, Irish dancing on the Garvaghy Road, to have TV broadcast police forcing the kids off the road. Also, the RUC thwarted an attempt to kill the majority of the Ormeau Road parade, just to cause further hatred.

The vast majority of the people in Northern Ireland want Orange Order parades to go ahead, and many also don't care or have no links to the Orange Order yet understand they have a human right to parade their normal routes.
It is only a evil minority of people who dislike them, and as we can see on this video and today in 2010 small numbers of Catholics/Republicans just come out and cause trouble for no reason. Its nothing to do with parades is Catholic hate of other faiths and the police
