Here's a brand new map and an exciting game to go with it. This map is meant for large matches, but supports small ones as well, as this video excitingly demonstrates. Also, paradoxes, this video has got them. Be there or be in temporal flux.

Achron Beta 0.8.4.2
Shadowfury333 (Grekim) vs. KingJohnVI (CESO)

  • Wow now this is a game idea that needs funding.

  • @GabiN64 Well, you can go to the achrongame website, Steam, Desura, or Gamersgate (or possibly others, I'm not sure) and pick it up at 2 for $20. Feel free to give the second copy to a friend. It really helps understanding of the game when you can play with a friend.

  • Is there a feature where you can watch the battle happening in real-time with all the final time changes? I think that would be the most baffling and entertaining way to view it post-match.

  • @RatherWatchThem No. It has been brought up before, and theoretically one could hang out at the left edge (apart from the sepia) and see that. However, the most interesting part is how players respond to timeline changes, rather than just the chronal events themselves.

  • I want to see this game played with Korean level micro

  • take that, causality! :)

  • @Xerxes4242 Cool. I'm not sure how many play total, but the IRC channel usually has 25-30 people at any time. Many are idling, but finding a game isn't too hard. Also, the more people there are, the better it gets.
