I thank you for widening the free thinking and education of my kids (you and I have already discussed this often). It's so well thought out and not in anyone's face, thankfully. I respected that quite a bit. It's about thinking and making up your own mind. That is what I try to teach my kids--by exposing them to many ideas. One of them may choose one thing, the other 2 quite likely will choose other things that resonate with their brains. My only rule: THINK.

Fascinates me that it took you a relatively long to time to come to this understanding.
I would never have thunk it:)
Fine video!

@XUORELS "what if you are wrong?"
You've got to be kidding me. Are you also a geocentrist? Where have been that you haven't come across what's wrong with Pascal's Wager? What if you're wrong about any of the other gods mankind has believed in? Is that fear enough to convert you to ALL OF THEM?
Your stance of thinking someone should force themselves to pretend they believe in something they don't, because of a threat, is disgusting, dehumanizing and something you should be ashamed of.

I enjoyed listening. I don't like religion either. Religion is men's ideas...I do love Jesus and believe that God is perfectly able to pen His words through flawed human beings and keep it (that's called faith). Have you ever considered why the Bible has endured when so many want it to die? Or why it is so hated by the communists? The gospels are eye-witness accounts from people who walked with Jesus. Finally, what if you are wrong? Are you sure you will be quite fine when you die? How 2 know?

@XUORELS You raise good stuff. Yes, I can historically point to events that led to the Bible being picked up and enduring in Western cultures; it's not unlike the events that made Islam thrive in more Eastern cultures. And the commies - well, they set up a theocratic rule of their own during the 19th and 20th century, again not unlike the regime in North Korea (history is replete with sequels), but instead of a god, they chose themselves. As for if I'm wrong, anyone could be. Who sweats that?
