Auto-Tune the News #4 on Shamisen: Majestic sunset. Nearly impossible glissandos. Inward-looking degenerative nonsense.

The instrument is called Tsugaru shamisen, and it's a fretless three-stringed lute which hails from northern Japan. The plectrum I use to play it with is called a bachi. It is not an ice scraper, but you can think of it as one if you like. I mean, it's fine with me anyway. Ok! Thanks for everything, everybody.

Are you keeping this in standard tuning? That is to say, CGC?

I tune to AEA as the piece is in A minor, so intervallically the tuning is standard(root-fifth-octave of root).
