A snail's life isn't all that great! This is a little Scratch animation project. Of course, if you are the adventurous type and want to try making escargo from garden snails, you should use caution and make sure the ones you select are disease free. Also you should control their diet for a couple weeks to make sure that they haven't been ingesting any poisonous plants such as oleander, for instance.

  • @blackturtleshow Oops! I meant a penny per snail, not a dollar per snail!!! I'd have been rich at a dollar per snail!!! LOL

  • @GreatGig1 Originally I was going to have the snail get crushed by the shoe at the end, but I changed my mind for two reasons: 1) The snail getting crushed animation would have been difficult, and 2) I decided that I preferred a happy ending. After calling the snail "proverbially slow" I decided that he would escape death by being just fast enough to get out from under the shoe!

  • @bowlingballout When I was a kid growing up in San Diego my mom paid us a dollar per snail to catch and kill them! I think my record was about 120 in a day and we just had a regular sized yard.

  • I haven't seen a snail since moving to the desert! Thanks for the little reminder. And, nope, I don't eat them...yuck! LOL

I enjoyed watching as always. I liked the ending! I actually laughed out loud! Thanks again! :-)

  • At my house, their likely fate is being tossed into the street.
