The only way to fix the economy is end ALL the wars (war on terror, war on poverty, war on drugs) and force the government to live within it's means (ie - not spending more than it brings in). If these two things are not done there is NO hope for any economic recovery and all we're headed for is a collapse of the dollar.

She spent 63 percent more in her high-profile inaugural year than her low-key predecessor Dennis Hastert did in 2006. In 2008 and 2009 Nancy Pelosi spent an annualized $120,000 on food & beverages each year, along with another $12,000 each on flowers & bottled water for her office. She cares nothing about Americans.

@PatriotWatchUSA If the government is serious about getting its budget fix they must first prove to us by pulling all troops from Afganistan and not when they are ready or 2014to like right now. I agree with the comment by landline it must stop spending and atleast be able to pay back $1 trillion of debt per year. This is no class warfare but the rich enjoyed many years in tax cuts. I say raise taxes on rich temporarily a set amount of years to see if deficit improves.

Well, I mostly agree with you that it's spending has to be cut, but I still think we need to raise taxes at least temporarily until we get our yearly deficits under $1T. I think cutting off foreign aid to Libya would be a good place to start saving!
