@MrAfilao Olvidate de Rigo. Rigonedeaux is being treated like the hated stepchild by Top Rank. Rigondeaux needs to keep doing what hes doing and call out the best at the same time stay busy vs the right step up opposition.. I would love to see Rigo vs Arce or Nishioka.

the fight can't be at 140, Gamboa can't even make 140 a Rios fighting with nutritionists to make a 140 is going to come at 170? come on!
I think Rios coming even at 165-170 would get beat by Gamboa's skills but I agree Gamboa's team shouldn't throw his gallo in a match like that.

Nonito wants nothing with Gamboa and nothing with Guillermo Rigondeaux, I guess he would jump to fight in the heavy weights :)

I think there is a big difference in weight, and it is a big risk for Gamboa.
But you know what, that cuban kid has balls and skills, he's been fighting much bigger fighters at the time of the fight before. I still think think Gamboa skills will impose, even when the chance of getting KOed by Brandos Rios is high

Here is the sense, it is not from the boxing start point, it is all about Top Prank.
They want to make the Gamboa vs Juanma Lopez fight, the hype that was gone after Salido destroyed Juanma. That fight isn't going to happen unless Gamboa takes a loss
I agree the weight differences is too much for this one, but I think Gamboa have the balls and skills to win
