How difficult was it to Put a STI into a regular Legacy? I have been thinking about ordering a STI engine from Japan and putting it into a mid 90s Legacy and turning it into a street sleeper.

Everything under a Legacy is the same as an Impreza, even the engine bay except for the tail shaft so everything fits, I only had to drill one hole during the entire conversion, the biggest nightmare is the wiring, best to join the RSLC in Australia for information

Well it was 18 months ago & it's had no effect so far, I built it to have fun, not pussy around washing it every weekend, all the cars were thoroughly hosed off within 10min of leaving the beach and I've had no reports of problems from the other guys either though I was the worst offender lol.
It's pulled a 13.2 since then too, but I am building a jacked up WRX Hatch for this kind of thing so I won't be hurting the Liberty as much any more.......maybe.
