the commercial shitty ass music that we hear on TV and the radio today is absolute shit. hip hop from the late 80s, and during the 90s was the best hip hop in terms of inovation and pure musicality. it's like rock from the 60s and 70s or reggae and dub from the same epoch. now just because it's old we shouldn't listen to it? if we all trashed that and listened to lady gaga we would all become retarded and ignorant
