@TroyStetina You're right man, this video was just a sort of "How hard can I push this exercise on acoustic guitar"??This was the result.
On electric I can play this exercise even faster, but,as you said, that's no use!
-
@MstChief117 Thanks, yeah what I was saying is that it sounds like threes (or 6) instead of fours (or 8). I've noticed that at speed over about 220bpm that seems to happen. It's like there's just a limit to how fast my ear can perceive the rhythmic divisions maybe. That's why I say it seems like over a certain speed, you are playing "into a black hole". No one can really hear it IMO. It just becomes harder and harder to hear anything.

@TroyStetina OMG,Troy Stetina?!?Man,you're the reason why I actually play guitar!!God bless you, your work was (and still it is) extremely useful for me!!
Anyway,I actually didn't get the first line of your comment (I'm italian you know =) ),you said that my picking hand sounds like playing three notes per beat instead of four notes??
Thank you man,I REALLY appreciate any comment or suggestion that comes from your amazing talent!

the picking sounds like 6s though, not 8s. Not saying it is, just that's what is conveyed aurally. I think after you get above about 220 bpm (16ths) there is not much point is seeking faster speeds because you cannot really hear it anyway. better to focus on note choice and composition and tone and articulation IMO. You can play! So perhaps it's time to apply that technique to MUSIC instead of exercises???
Anytime bro id give anything to be that good
