Jesus does indeed want to save us from sin. And He wants us to repent and have faith in Him as you say. However, in the prayer that He gave us, He also included the words, "thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven." Repentance in Christ involves doing what we can to bring this about.

  • @roxykattx Being a Christian has nothing to do with being a republican and democrat. It has nothing to making people prosper in wealth. Do you really understand what a Christian is? Being a Christian is receiving Christ through repentance and faith in Him, and He will save you from your sin. If everyone was a Christian then this world would be amazing, but the fact is many people aren't Christians. As a Christian you're to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to live for Him, not bring prosper.

  • What a dull, sleepy fellow. We Christians should be more concerned that we are complicit in persecution rather than that we will receive it. What's with the rhetorical question, "where is the Republican party?" Well, it has done a hell of a lot of damage, thanks in part to Christians. And it seems he wants people to be machine gunned rather than to retire. Look to the Occupy movement, buddy. That's where the work of Christ is being done, and often by non-Christians.

  • @Ritsaart May you be encouraged, Brother!

Regardless of those around you, greater is HE THAT IS IN YOU, than he who is in the world.

You have the Almighty on your side, Christian!

To Him be ALL glory, honor, authority, and power!

  • @Ritsaart God bless you Ritsaart. Do not grow weary in well doing. The fields are ripe whether we're in Acts 1:8 or the end of Isaiah 6.

  • I live in Europe (Holland).

It is true. The church is irrelevent. It is really my responsibility to witness more and let the people here the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I think God will bring great revival. I always here Americans talk about how wicked their nation is. You should come to Europe really. Than you will know what lukewarm christianity is or dead christianity.

It is really sad but I know God is faithful and everything is going to be fine if we trust in God!

  • Study and Read the Word of God and immerse yourselves in His Holy Scriptures. Love one another(All peoples) and live as Christ lived as Christ lives in you. Yahweh God Always keeps His Promises, and He is the only ONE who sees the End from the beginning and not through a mortal finite and human carnal mind. Keep looking up and praying with Thanks that you will be counted worthy for the Kingdom of God. May God Bless each and everyone of you and keep you in the safely in the palms of His Hands.

  • can we??? id love to go to alaska!

  • yes, exciting. :)

  • I would really enjoy living in Alaska! (Or in the mountains of Wyoming or Montana.) But, the Lord's will is for me to remain in Minneapolis. (I am NOT a city man!) But, His will is the best place to be!

An article recently said that fault lines along the west coast of N. America are bigger and more dangerous than scientists thought. They fully expect large quakes, triggering tsunamis, that will destroy much of the west coast of N. America.
