i made one with a conveyor belt that extended to 1 metre when needed and it was25 cm long when not extended.

Are sharp objects against the rules in the vex competition...im not familiar bc my school only competes in FRC and this is the first year in VEX

They are very rigid, not like foam rubber, more like a heavy Styrofoam. The PE is the same stuff milk jugs are made of.

btw it doesn't sound like foam in this video sounds like some plastic or something

The foam is a Crosslink PE (Polyethylene) if anyone cares the exact type.

The blocks are made of a dense foam and weigh about 16 grams, or .56 ounces each.

Cant wait for the competition here at Cali. Me an my team have to think of a new robot now. Great vid.
They should be available on vexrobotics soon after we get them in. These are prototypes so the final product may differ slightly.
