Mate, after i went to the fathers day drags and heard an 1100hp v8 stonking down the track,a tin arsed rotary doesn't cut it any more.

Each to his own I suppose, of course a higher displacement engine is going to give out miles more torque. I'm not really a car person anyways, I'd take a litre-bike over a cage any day.
