  • thats my teacher, Jet! Best teacher in the World!

  • yer, he is amazing! but then again so is bab and his wife celia! i wanted to be taught by them for level three but unfortuntely the course was full :( wat level are yu doing?

  • good to watch, as im sitting my level 2 this june!! gulp, did you pass??

  • I've not taken the exam yet, I'm sitting mine in June - I have a mock in March which I'm REALLY not looking forward to!

  • dont worry, we all have to start somewhere,if we fail 1st time, just take it on aboard as an experience, and correct where we go wrong. the college i am at about 70 % failed first time, doesnt mean you will, i know it is a demanding exam but by watching youre video clip, you will do well, as not once did you ask to repeat or didnt understand what they was saying, is that your tutor sitting there? my tutor is deaf, and i think thats the best way.

  • Yeah they are both tutors, both deaf, one has a deaf wife who comes along, we are always getting into mischief! I tend to be fine as soon as I get into the swing of the conversation, and I can tell stories until they come out of my ears (I have another BSL video of me talking about Ray Winstone) it's the four part story that I'm really worried about!

  • Ah, I had Jet as my tutor for my 1st yr of level 2 last yr, he's lovely, so is his wife! Im now on my 2nd yr with a different tutor and not enjoyin it so much. The hardest thing I find is to not speak continuously while I sign :( A major problem at the mo but hoepfully I'll have improved and by the time I take my exams in may/june! fingers crossed! Any usefull links on here you could recommend? I see your video was uploaded 5 yrs ago, did you pass level 2? Did you proceed onto level 3?xxx

  • Jet is my hero

  • I have been using bsl since the age of 12(I am now 28!) I feel your signing aint bad but there are a couple of flaws. First one is- bsl is minimal lip pattern and full facial expression with hand signs. You use a lot of english lip pattern- not good! Second- Your placement skills need improving. If you have passed lv2 then well done! If not than keep it up and never give up!

  • I'm on Level 2 right now, have to tell a children's story this afternoon
