  • i dont think they can as u can see even though the betta lived aslong as it did it probably lived a stressed life..it was flaring through out all the recording not only that gold fish tend to nip at the bettas tail if the goldfish is biger than the betta...also notice the betta had nowere to hide also another stress on he betta...if his brother wouldnt of killed it the betta would have died of stress later...some bettas dont like fish that swim faster than it...BTW it was a nice looking betta

  • oh it died of stress not tue gold fish my retarded little brothers took it out of the tank and played with it by putting it on a toy truck and driving around with it they did that to the gold fish to and one of my chiclids from my tank

  • no they can not.

  • no they cant live together they did for about a year an so then fed goldfish to friends gars and beta died RIP

  • he died i put him in my brothers tanks and he was being a retard and was playin with it

  • i just got a betta fish yesterday, hes small too. - any tips?

  • nice but poor fish you need to add like a small house or something rather than a plane dull thing u got hha but they look good

  • tha really sux :( it looked like a pretty betta

  • its not advised but they can, it depends on the fish itself. if you did want to put them in tank together i would put them in like a 10 gal or so. i would also either put the fish in the tank at the same time or the goldfish (or whatever other kind) in the tank first. bettas are territorial and will be more likely to attack if he feel like new fish are coming into his domain
