The Los Angeles Gay Elder Circle and 100 Gay Men is presenting a major one day conference titled The Gay Adult: Calling Ourselves Into Being, A day of Intergeneration Dialogue on Saturday, February 26, 2011, 9AM -- 5PM, at the Renberg Theater in Hollywood. This pioneering conference will explore the role of the gay adult -- often the missing gay adult -- in the life of the community and within the context of profound interdependence among ancestors, elders, adults and youth.
The conference will include important community leaders including Don Kilhefner Co-founder of the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, community activist and psychologist); Reverend Dr. Neil Thomas of Metropolitan Community Church Los Angeles,: Jeffrey King of In The Meantime Men, Los Angeles ; Roland Palencia, long-time Latino activist; and others in a highly interactive day of dialogue and brotherhood.
